| Bio: | This is my "professional" blog, for articles in progress, sample mockups, updates on other work I have published, where to find my other works, and the like. My name is Patricia Michell Mayo, but feel free to call me Miche. I have been blogging for 4 years, and in my efforts to help forward social change, I have been there, done that, and sold the t-shirt. I was raised in a family of entrepreneurs and so took a great interest in the science of business from a very young age. For about the last 8 years I have been involved with many entrepreneurships and consulted them on the matters of grassroots marketing, graphic design, and branding - not to mention filling those roles myself from time to time as well. Mainly I specialize in the financial services, hospitality, education, information technology, and transportation industries, but have been known to work outside those industries quite frequently, actively working to align myself only with companies who seeked to conduct business ethically, if not toward social change. In the last few years I have gradually worked toward writing as a means to forward social change. Mayobrains, formerly mayobrains.com, was a blog commissioned by a social entrepreneurship in an effort to prepare the public for their special brand of social change. I was the only writer and was given complete creative control. It has since ceased to be updated as the backing company decided to re-prioritize their approach. I am also currently working on having my work published in several magazines, internet publications, and social change communities. A Canadian internet publication, in fact, has recently invited me to have a regular column with them, after running across my work in one of these communities. Outside of the professional realm, I have a few personal blogs in which I work to either educate or assist others. In I may not be right, I write about sociology, psychology, politics, economics, metaphysics, and ethics, with a righteous philosophy bent.
